Dance away your Toddler Temper Tantrums!

Updated: Jan 27, 2021

Toddler Dance in Birmingham

We have all been there! Massive meltdown, hysterical screeching, totally out of proportion to the situation. Have you considered putting on your favourite track and dancing?

Now don't get me wrong here, I totally understand that it's the last thing you want to do! You're feeling Irate, uptight and stressed. But here is the thing, you put on your favourite feel good track and dance. Yes, certainly your toddler might look at you as if you have totally lost the plot, but it gives a very strong message. The only person who is miserable in this situation is your toddler. You start to feel less stressed as your system releases natural endorphins, the music drowns out some of the noise, and your toddler suddenly begins to pay attention. Most little ones find it hard to resist a strong beat and a Mom who is having a good time. It suddenly begins to look much less appealing to continue to scream and a much better idea to join in.

Of course, if the tantrum doesn't stop it has the advantage of burning a few calories, and a few minutes of feel good time for Mom. Give it a try next time your little one has one of those moments!
